Brazil VS North Korea

WHAT A GOAL!!!!! GO DPR!!!!

Full time 2-1. Great game in the end. Absorbing from start to finish and with three excellent goals thrown in.

2nd best moment of the World Cup so far, seeing NK get a goal against the number 1 ranked side in the world.

Yeah pretty open and flowing in the end there, good game.

NZ draw and Aussie shanking surely rank above it through!

Green's howler too for me. 

Of course NZs draw is above, that's why i said second best. And i enjoyed seeing that more than seeing a pish Aussie side get done by the Germans or seeing Rob Green come up with a mistake a Conference keeper probably wouldn't make.

Brazil 2-1 Korea DPR

Good game by Brazil. Controlled most things. A fortunate cross/strike from Maricon on the right flank for the first goal in the second half. The second goal was a beautifully weighted crafted pass from the left midfield through the central defence with a runner from the right wing coming from the outside of the right side korean defence. A ground pass that squeezed pass 4-5 koreans and then side passed to the left side of the goal, angling in front of the keeper who had no chance of reaching it after shifting to his left to cover the run from that side.

Korea had a lovely driven strike at the end after a backwards knock down from the forward on the left to the midfielder coming inside direct to the 18 box and left kicked just over the Brazilian keeper who dived to his right to cover the near post in anticipation. No reflex can stop it's power strike. And for a few last minutes Korea DPR had a few more clear breaks against a lessen/loose brazilian defence in an attempt to score for a draw. But too little and too late.

Korea DPR was largely defensive and lose their balls easily on the few breaks they had, the brazilians having shut and cut their space down promptly and isolating the Korean attackers.
