There's actually a bit of money now I understand in the Brazilian league, with a number of players returning from Europe. Hence their teams have dominated the Copa Libertadores in recent years.

And re Messi & Inter Miami. A flight Miami to Vancouver, would be 4-5 hours? Longest in the MLS comp?  Not surprising he didn't turn up at his age with Copa Amereica approaching, as he tries to manage his body towards WC 2026.
