The way this tournament is going i wouldn't bet against it Uncle Steve.

Three for me, and two for them.

LOL. what a lollipop dive, and then a straight red for Nigeria

I very seriously hope there is a review of this simulation and the Greek player gets punished for it.

FIFA claimed they would punish players hard for this kind of sh*t in the World Cup, and I hope they keep their word.

Completely ruined the game, gave Greece a win I doubt they would have otherwise had.

ps leave the diving for Ronaldo pleaseArd Righ2010-06-18 11:05:23

Well fark you Greece - ruined my multi.

Interestingly enough, the results from this morning have kept this group wide open, and Nigeria still have a decent chance of getting through. If they beat the Koreans, they will move ahead of them, and if Greeks lose to the Argies (quite conceivable that they will, although they may look to give a rest to some of their stars), Nigeria will finish second.

Heaps for everyone to play for, the 3rd round in this group should be a fantastic watch.

another historic moment: first goal of greecein the WC

yes... the greek player simulated, but the nigerian one had a stupid reaction... and reaction is always red, also if he didn't touch the greek one.

it must be red for nigerian oneand yellow for greek one... this says the rule book... i disagree... but this is..

Don't think it allowed under the laws, but would have loved the ref to send the Nigerian, and book the Greek for unsportsmanlike conduct for the exageration.

Was an unfortunate match for the keepers - Greek keeper got beaten by covering the deflection that didn't happen, and the Nigerian keeper got beaten the deflection that he couldn't cover.

well Nigeria blew it for sure
played a good 5 minutes of the second half with 9 men as well.
no Obafemi Martins either...what a clusterf**k it's been appointing Lagerbeck
moan moan moan

they only good thing is now he has to play an attacking line up against SK
so Oba and Utaka should start, star and score
