MATCH PREVIEW

Neither team has a single point to their name this season as of this game, Niigata going down away at Nagoya last weekend, while Gamba were, in the end, unlucky to suffer some bad decisions on the way to a 2-1 home defeat to Iwata. This defeat meant five losses in all competitions for Gamba's 2012 campaign and the coaching staff were sent back to Brazil. Gamba hero Masanobu Matsunami has been given the manager's seat and expect this to give the team the adrenalin it needs to get that first win.

According to the report, new coach Matsunami have decided to change tactics, Midfielder Kurata will take his first starting role in this game.

HEAD TO HEAD

Gamba have seven wins to Niigata's five in 16 meetings between these two teams but Niigata haven't won since summer 2009 and that boost of new coaching staff will lead to a WIN FOR GAMBA OSAKA!
