Busy man!

Yeah I have to set a couple of alarms, and sleep in the lounge so that if anyone gets up they wake me up also.

Find myself cheering Nigeria on here, not looking too bad for an equaliser.

Allegedly

1-0 win for the Argies, they probably should have scored a few more.

Messi alone should have scored 2-3 golas, but praise to Nigeria's keeper, was brilliant in this game. Don't think he will stay in Maccabi Haifa for long if he continues to play like this in the World Cup.

Yeah, Messi is quality but really should have scored a few more goals. Gutted for the Nigerians, always have a soft spot for the African sides.

I'm watching the replay now and both sides had a lot of chances but couldn't get good shots away. There have been a couple of games like that already. And no, I don't think it is the ball!

Best game so far imo - though i haven't seen SK v greece (word is it wasn't a great game)

Argentina looked good going forward and certainly composed on the ball, sure Veron gave away possession but he can still 'see' the pass better than most

Messi and the Nigerian keeper both v impressive

Samuels got away with one! at that corner

what a miss, should've started Milito

over who?
Higuain

have you watched ANY spanish football this year????

Wait are you kidding me??? Have you watched ANY Italian Serie A this year or even Champions league maybe not so much champions league cos Real + higuain didn't make it very far. Milito has undoubtedly had a better season that Higuain. Milito scored 22 goals in the serie a and scored in the knockout stages, last 16, the semi finals and a double in the final of the champions league. Higuains good but this season he doesnt even compare to Milito season

Tevez was poor by his standards. Could not happen to a nicer bloke.

Argentina will be very hard to beat. Great to watch.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Played very well going forward, should have score 2-3 more. But man there's some donkeys in that backline - Demichelis, Samuel, JG, and Heinze as the back 4 doesn't inspire too much confidence.

But the frontline should be enough to get them to the QF at least.

Gutierrez especially sticks out like a sore thumb. He isn't even traditionally a defender.

Three for me, and two for them.

Agreed, Argentina will do well in the group, but against some stronger sides they can be easily beaten. Just look at the number of chances Nigeria created against them. Better teams in next rounds will make use of them surely. coachingsoccer2010-06-15 21:23:38
