I know someone who will be absolutely devastated about no Arshavin. And I must say I'm a bit gutted, quite like Arshavin.

hes quality and a game changer but Slovenia deserve to be there now. Wouldnt mind Slovenia, Slovakia or Greece?

Second World Cup for Slovenia. Pretty impressive for a nation of about 2 million.

Saw somewhere last night this tidbit: Slovenia population = 2.1 million. Registered football players in Russia = 5.6 million.

Meh, lame Portugal and France got through. Slovenia, I don't really mind. And I wanted Greece to win- saw some of the game this morning.

Arshavin played absolutely rubbish for Russia over the two legs. Think he might cop a big chunk of blame, being captain and all as well.
