Anyone know a bit more about this kid?

Plying his trade at Rangers, obviously not in the first team, but in their youth system so must have some talent. Potential Nix youth option as well maybe..
Simon, he is not going to come back here to play for the nix youth. Massive step backwards.
No, you're right, but if he was good enough for first team then it could be a possibility.
Still, I'm a big fan of this kid. Hope he does well.

off to the world cup then!!!
lol Rufer.... ignored NZFA in his prime and now NZF ignores him

still could be a good pickup for that youth spot at the Nix. Backup in defence.

But hang on. Wynton says he should have walked in to the World Cup squad... surely not.
Depends if you think that the Ranger team is better than the All Whites or not. Maturity and experience does count against him in one sense but since we haven't really seen how well he has played or not, we shouldn't really comment much about his abilities unless we actually have seen him played. Remember WeeMac was in a similar situation when he was released by Celtic and then after being picked up by CCM, he was exposed to Ricki. Mind you, WeeMac had a record on being in the international youth team for the Scots.
Maybe Andrew Milne should consider following WeeMacs example if nothing is happening before the transfer season is over??AllWhitebelievr2010-05-18 00:23:46

The difference between weemac and andrew milne is that weemac made it into celtics first team at 18 there was also a reserve league when he played which celtic won 6 in a row, this is no longer the case as the reserved league was scrapped last season so at the end of their youth contract if they have not made an impact then the clubs will not offer pro contracts, the young lad will find it very hard to find another club in scotland that is willing to take a chance on an untried young player good luck to him maybe he should head back to nz and get first team football at the nixs.
Was Andrew Milne successfull in his trial with the nix to earn a youth spot?
Don't think he trialed with the Nix at all as far as I know.
He is listed in this link as a leeds united player but as far as i know he never played last year in darlington:
I dont think its him. The official website says he (Andrew Mile) is a British defender born in 1990. That's too many differences to be our man.disco_mart2010-07-26 06:01:25
