Big difference!
The North African football culture is in some ways similar to South American. Lousy losers, harass the referee's on every call. Blame everything and everyone for their failure but themselves.

Southern Africa culture is more about the beauty and joy of the game, dribbling, taking the mickey out of your opponent. Enjoying the game.

Southern african fans sit together in the stands even for derbies - No separation and will laugh and mock each others team. Yes on occasion things get heated (and most often fans will deal with it among ourselves) but never to the level that the North Africans take it.
