So unfortunate for Stellies fc they...... losted by a toenail.
And who's toe you my ask? None other than Adj

Stellies scored a goal but VAR ruled it out for offside. Gutted. Andre uncharacteristically started the game as the lone striker which is clearly not his best position (main striker Ashley Cupid is out for the season) but he did ok. Honestly, making the semis of a continental competition on their 1st try is an amazing achievement. Simba Fc showed their experience in African continental football which clearly helped.  Didn't help that they played the game in Durban (not their home city or grounds). Not sure why they didn't chose Cape Town stadium (closer) or any Johannesburg stadium (altitude).

I said at the beginning of this season that this tournament is a poison chalice for PSL clubs but Stellenbosch has proved me wrong by maintaining(close) their position on the log as per last season. Will they spend the money and go for it next season? no.

For Adj, the caf conference cup has been a grand adventurer with a few exotic locations on the way and his face on a popular football newspaper cover
