Yipe I agree I'd think he'd be a great pickup for the Nix. Hopefully Chico stays and becomes the main playmaker.
But as this season as shown when either him or Rojas haven't been availble (so about 90% of the campaign) it's been shark to watch. Just no one else to provide that creative spark.
So failing the unlikely of Just or Singh coming down from Europe, De Jong is as good as it could get for a Kiwi in that role.
I see that Brimmer is signed at Auckland until June 2028. But he's not always a starter for them. Be interesting to know if he's happy there or not. More so if he asks to leave AFC, ADJ becomes a target for the Estonians. I doubt the Nix could entice Brimmer to Welly, even after an AFC mutual release.
