Turns out that is the PSL season is over, though only 28 games were played not 30. Royal AM (0 points) were earlier kicked out of the comp for something.

So Stellenbosch finished 3rd and again qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup.

What now for free agent De Jong. He does seem desperate to make the All Whites, and he's definitely on the fringes. Waine's spot for sure is under question.

Auckland have had plenty of fringe AWs improve their national team stocks this ALM season.

But I reckon he'd be a good pickup for the Nix, if he wants & can play that AM role well?? At 28, fits the age cohort they are looking to fill. Though ADJ only had 1 goal & 2 assists in 25 PSL games. More prolific in CAF & Cup games.

Edit - Sundowns won the PSL easily, 13 pts clear of Orlando Pirates (2nd). CAF Champions League 2 legged final. 1-1 after the first leg in Jo'burg. Mamelodi Sundowns now travel to Cairo to play Egypt's Pyramids in the 2nd leg. PSL is a strong comp in Africa.
