In all other cases where countries have been found guilty of fielding ineligible players, they have been docked competition points earned in the  game where the player was fielded, and no other non-monetary punishment was handed down, as per FIFA regulations.


Also, Gourdie stated on twitter than in FIFA's release, they stated that this does NOT put the result of Stage 3 in doubt, NZ will play the intercontinenal playoff whatever the outcome of this process is.
