Interesting where they put the VAR lines on his offside goal. Looking at the defender I'd say the initial line they put down which Wood was in front of, was perhaps 2 or 3 inches short of where the defender's shoulder was (not counting the foot mind you which is obstructed)


And for Wood's line (thin yellow line below) they've put it on the tip of his knee when it looks like clearly his upper body and head is closer to goal.

In this case it makes no difference to me, narrowly offside - but it makes you question their margins of error when they can't even decide what part of the body is closer to goal from certain angles - let alone if a part of the body is obstructed by a defender as the right boot is in the first pic.
