'Outstanding finish by the New Zealander'. Not a large backlift for that strike. When the big guy retires, or drops out of the EPL, Kiwis are going to realise how rare it is to see one of their own scoring regularly at that level. Could easily be 20 years before it happens again.

Of course it being 3.5 years now (when in the prime of his career) since he last played a game in NZ, doesn't help his profile. Looks like it will go well over 4 years, between games in his home country.

Not a mention in TV One Sports News of his goal against the Toffies. Just ad nauseum about some yacht race. The giant con.
