Perhaps an attempt at something of a rope a dope with the firepower on the bench.
Hopefully good news for Wood as he combined well with Yates in pre-season and Ward-Prowse is feted for his delivery.
Also on the bench the 6 ft 8 inch Carlos Miguel. Quite an imposing figure.
