Aside from goals against Mexico and Japan, most have been against middling teams at best. He really needs some against top Euro and SA sides. So annoying his goal in Doha was scrubbed off in a highly suspect fashion. That would have been the biggest goal of his career so far.

He also needs one against the auld enemy. Just had a look at Cahill’s list, 33 of his were against average sides too.
