I wrote a celebration post too and then they bleeding pulled up the VAR when he looked clearly onside.
Cracking distance shot too saved from Woodsy. Caught it so sweetly. Elanga in red hot form. 8 goal contributions in 9 games. MGW with a goal and assist.
Danilo, Aina and Anderson also very good creatively as well as their defensive qualities.
Here’s hoping Woodsy can add more goals in the second half to keep him right in the golden boot race, and in the hunt for my new goal for him: 30 PL goals. Would need a big finish to the season, but while we’re flying, might as well do some acrobatics!
14 more rounds left and he’s on 15 goals. It’d need him to come home with a wet sail and Forest to really punish some teams, but it’s certainly not an impossibility!
