Personal: Dylan De Jong is the son of Steven and Maxine De Jong and was born on Sept. 28 in Auckland, New Zealand. He has two brothers and one sister. He plans to study accounting while attending MSU.

Looks like the Israeli season starts about late August, each year - so that may rule him out of Olympics contention, if his club say he has to report for early pre season training 2020/201 campaign.

Literally every player that's in Olympics contention is either in-season or in pre-season in late July/early August.

Yeah sure, esp if playing stateside/Scandinavia (mid season),  or other Europe (seasons starting generally late August).

Even more so, if fairly new at a club, and looking to establish oneself. Think Singh, Billingsley, Bell, De Jong, and possibly Cacace.

But the A League guys will surely all be available enmasse? I presume the next A League season will have a typical October start date.

Plus any domestic Handy level players (which was De Jong yesterday) in contention, will also definitely go.
