That is good news. Must help his chances of a MLS contract?

He had a short stint up there with Kansas two seasons ago.

Stays on the bench as Phoenix Rising draw 0-0 with Fresno FC.

Fresno had a player sent off at 40 m ins.

Phoenix struggling somewhat, so far this season (4 games, 4 draws) after making USL final last season. They had 23 shots to 4, in this game.

He seems to be on the outer? Off contract in December, maybe he could be a Nix target? We need some CB/DMs

Is a strange one. Last USL season he seemed to be a real important part of the Rising's starting eleven, as they went all the way to the USL final.

This season they are struggling, and he is stuck on the bench. He's on the pine right now as Phoenix play at Orange County.

He does now have a Green Card, that could mean he'll stay Stateside for awhile yet.

Orange County beat Phoenix Rising 2-1. Musa stays on the bench, as the Rising chase an equaliser.

Rising sit 14th.

NZ matchup in the USL, and 2nd Kiwi USL scorer for the day.

Bleach haired Musa with bragging rights as Phoenix Rising beat RGV (Kyle Adams) 3-1. Both played 90 mins.

Musa with a nice volley and his first Phoenix goal. Makes you wonder why he has spent so long on the bench to date this season, when the Rising have been struggling.

Salazar from RGV with one of the worst goal misses you'll see.

120 mins as Phoenix knocked out of the US Open Cup by New Mexico.

2-2 after ET.

Looks like Musa not used by Rising in pen shootout, which after his impressive volley goal last week could have been a mistake.

Gets 10 mins off the bench as Phoenix beat Las Vegas Lights 4-0.

Already 3-0 when Musa came on.

Rising up to 3rd on the USL table, Western Conference.

We should look to bring him back - has fallen down the pecking order there.

Offers cover at DM and CB, and won't cost a fortune.

10 mins off the bench in a 4-2 away win at Real Monarchs (USL affiliate for Real Salt Lake).

Same score when he came off the bench.

Rising now up to 2nd on Western Conference USL ladder.

Possible target for the Nix?

Even with a US visa, hard to see him now cracking a MLS side, if just a reserve at USL level.

90 mins in a 5-0 win over Tulsa.

Credited with the assist for first goal.

Not sure why he has spent so much time on the bench this season. Whenever he seems to start, Rising go well.

Admittedly they had already been travelling well of late. 2nd now in Western Conference, overtaking Cameron Knowles’s Timbers II.

New USL franchise New Mexico currently top in the West.

The assist is an absolute banger as well, 50 yard diagonal ball that the striker volleys home from the edge. Phil Rollo had the video somewhere.

Phoenix Rising 6 - 0 Austin Bold

Musa with a well taken 2nd goal of the season, but jesus he must've been pinching himself as he made his run forward - The path to goal wide open, but made it his own with a gut busting run and a clinical finish.

10 consecutive wins in the USL Championship after a slow start to the season. Top of the league in the Western Conference.
