Harshness of playoff football. Western Conference quarters.
Despite easily winning their Western Pacific Conference Phoenix are knocked out of the playoffs on first bounce by Rio Grande Valley, who were a lowly 4th in the Western Mountain Conference.
2-2 end of NT. 3-3 end of ET.
RGV win it 4-3 on pens
Full 120 mins for Musa who wasn’t a pen taker. He played 32 games for the season (never subbed off) with 2 goals.

Presumably he will re-sign for the Rising, though if he ever wants to make the AWs again, looks like he will need to leave USL. He'll be 30 next year, so Qatar maybe his last shot at being part of a WC team, if the AWs made it. A pick up for the Nix?
Though like a Dyer he could come into the frame for the extra January FIFA window, if NZF find some friendlies but guys like Smith, Kirwan etc struggled to be released by their in season clubs. Could add Bell to that list if signs for a Championship club.
