Viking don’t get the hype of the big clubs Molde or Rosenborg, or the hipsters’ team from the Arctic Circle Bodø/Glimt, but they’ve been the best team in the league since he came back from Tokyo and are certainly shots at the title and he’s at the middle of that. He’s the best player in the league and is carrying them potentially towards a  first title since 1991, and then he’ll be sold in January to the biggest bidder, so good on him for staying. Just think though, imagine being the team to dump him for Rufer/Ridenton/McGlinchey…
Phoenix didn't dump him. He was offered a contract but he always wanted to go to the college route to ensure he had a back up to football.
