Some high quality stuff there from Ott. Bit of a caveat. Likely not the strongest South Melbourne side. They played Heidelberg in the Dockerty Cup final last weekend, and of course had a very tough Australia Cup R16 game against Auckland FC mid week. On the other hand their NPL season (sitting 9th) is basically over, nothing really to play for.

Unfortunately doubt the Nix will be interested in bringing Ott back to the club. All about giving increased mins to Supyk, either alongside Eze, or replacing him late in games. Flowerdew next cab off the Weenix striker rack. Though Supyk's contract finishes at the end of this ALM season, so he maybe is on the move next year unless he extends.

Ott's best bet of a full time pro gig might be one of the 2 NZ clubs in the new OFC Pro League. Or even as a visa player with one of the Island teams in that league.

Yes Avondale host Brisbane City in their Australia Cup quarter, so a great chance to get into a semi against either the Jets or Macarthur. As well as Ott they have 2 other Kiwis in Daniel Edwards and Emlyn Wellsmore.

The VIC NPL title going down to the last round.
Heidelberg (25 games, 56 pts). 1 game left
Avondale (24 games, 55 pts). 2 games left

Ott 5 goals in 11 NPL games. Was out for 4 months (early April to early August).
