Let me rephrase. What did his four past clubs, for who he's made a total of 104 first team appearances (according to Wikipedia), pay him to do?
Very good question, I'd like to know myself. They all released him for not doing it
well anyway

I know we're arguing semantics and that technically, yes, he is/was a professional football player. He just wasn't a particularly good one and didn't show much sign of improvement over the time I watched him play. Will be interesting to see if he gets another A-League contract.
Totally agree with that. My feeling is that he's one of those players who is probably a bit too good for NZFC/NPL level but not up to A-League standard, although his move to Korea was a reward for a decent run of form for the Mariners. He could probably continue to carve out a pro career in the likes of Thailand and India if he wanted to, à la Kayne Vincent.
I think I defend him on here a bit because he seems like a decent guy who has worked hard to become and remain a pro footballer despite his limitations, so I think the comments saying he's not a footballer, or the incessant and unfunny comparisons with Usain Bolt, are pretty unfair.
