Leo is not completing his two year marquee contract which ends in July 2016.

Leo has left East Bengal with the club having a new manager on board and opting for new imports.

He was seen as a failure as a marquee by most commentators, playing only 11 of East Bengal's 20 I-League matches (8 starts / 3 subs)and not being influential enough to justify his marquee status.

He got injured early in the last I-League season (shortly after the post above) but came back to be influential for the side initially before East Bengal faded badly over the last month of the season (due to the team's lack of fitness according to many) finishing fourth :

Me and my friend leo visit the slums after training and give our lunch packets to these kids,so sad to see the conditions they live in.

Leo's former East Bengal team mate Milan Susak was the former Adelaide United and Brisbane Roar A-League winner who has also played in the Serbian top flight, Germany (Unterhaching), China, Iran and Indonesia.

Still going strong for Hamilton Olympic in his third season with the Aussie club, at the ripe old age (for a winger, at least) of 36
