Noah (2nd on GD) with a 1-1 draw overnight against league leaders Pyunik.
Rogerson an unused sub. Doesn't seem he has scored as yet, so far in Armenia.

Pretty international (at least with the bigger clubs like these two) in Armenia. Both teams with only about 3 or 4 locals in their starting lineups.

For some context maybe, in the March window Armenia (ranked 94) lost 2-1 to the Czech Republic & 1-0 to Kosovo.

Rogerson back from his calf strain (was named on the bench) but didn't manage to get on in his side's 1-0 defeat to Shirak.

Still top of the table, and their destiny is in their own hands.

League likely to be decided between the 17th & 19th of May...

Whoever has scheduled that has had an absolute shocker.

Penultimate round and this game likely decides the title race.

Rogerson's Noan (1st, 77 pts) travel to Pyunik (2nd, 76 pts).

Wonder if players ever get approached to do a bit of spot fixing in Armenia.

He's earning a decent whack over there compared to what's on offer in the A-League.

Europa League qualification is at least guaranteed by now for Noah. If they win the league then they're in the Champions League qualifying rounds. Lots on the line early tomorrow morning for the club.

Rogerson an unused sub as Noah (2nd, 77 pts) lose 3-0 at Pyunik (1st, 79 pts).

So Pyunik go 2 pts clear with 1 round left.
They travel to Shirak (8th), whilst Rogerson's Noah host West Armenia (7th).

Pyunik in the box seat.

Noah win 3-1, with Rogerson an unused sub.
Unfortunately Pyunik get the 1-0 win that they need to clinch the title by only 2 points.

Looks like Noah will have some European football to start the next season. UEFA Conference League Qualifiers. Rogerson played in those one season at Haka from memory.

He barely got a look in at his few months in Armenia. Total 194 mins in the league. Hopefully with a proper pre season, gets more of a crack next season.

As an aside, how did Armenia swing UEFA membership? My initial thought was it may be due to their average international relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan so maybe FIFA wanted them apart similar to Israel and the AFC. But both of those countries are also part of UEFA.

Noah win 2-1, so 4-1 on agg. No Rogerson.

Noah into the 2nd qualifying round, where they will play Mo Awad's Maltese club Sliema Wanderers over 2 legs.

He’s all but signed with Awful Knights, right?
I can see it as a good move for him. He’s been away for a while and gets to play close to home again.
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

He's already back in NZ and training with Auckland. Announcement should be any time soon really.

Finished 2-0 to 10 man Noah. Victory moves them 2nd on GD, although Pyunik do have a game in hand. It's all gotten pretty tight at the top since the resumption a few weeks back.

Made an effort to watch given the starting role for Rogerson, who was eventually subbed off after 80 minutes. Industrious performance down that right wing, with a few nice touches and interplay. Created a great chance towards the backend of the first half, beating his man close to the byline and cutting back only to see the striker skew the finish and have an Alashkert player clear off the line.

Decent performance. Standard of the Alashkert pitch looked questionable. Refereeing at times looked the same too.

Anyone who watches Armenian football, and isn't Armenian, probably needs to re-examine their life choices!

Tragically for ardent Armenian football fan Rusty Dunks, Rogerson returns to the A League.

Left the Nix 7 years ago, as a 19 year old. 2 ALM goals.
