What's all the secrecy about his new club about? Unless he's signed for Real Madrid, that's pretty unusual isn't it?
New club probably wants him to pass medical etc before announcing. 

ACFC had to make some sort of statement about him leaving given he was gonna miss the final, in other circumstances they would have likely held off announcing that until the new club was ready.
