Haka (5th) travel to KuPS (2nd). Rogerson starting. Whyte on the bench

Edit - KuPS up 2-0 at HT
Edit 2 - Whyte comes on at HT, and scores in 85th min to make final score 2-1. Full game Rogerson.

KuPS go top of the league with the win. 1 point ahead of David Browne's HJK.

Hope Hay calls up Whyte for a looksee later this month. Sure it's only Finnish football, but Howieson didn't really show much in March. Think worth having a look at Whyte.

Whilst I wouldn’t call up Howieson either, is Whyte not more competing for spots occupied by the likes of Singh/Thomas/Rojas/Just/McCowatt/Champness? Whilst Howieson would be in that Bell/Stamenic/Garbett/Lewis area? Definitely correct me if I’m wrong, I’m not super familiar with Whyte’s midfield versatility.

Yep you're dead on. Whyte offers more versatility, probably equally adept in the CM and AM roles I'd say. Even has some experience playing deep. Howieson's a locked-on playmaking CM, but doesn't mind the odd drive forward. He'd probably be an alright AM, just hasn't played there since he was pretty young iirc
