Why would Marko be keen to return to Olympiacos? Apart from Athens being a wonderful city, the coach didn't rate him all that much last season? Has there been a change? He could do worse than the first tier in Greece, but at the same time he could do a whole lot better

Going to the Champ makes a lot more sense. He's signed for an English club, a country he has never played in before. Why not go to a Championship side, and learn about some physical football, where the season is a bit of a slog - rather than playing against, I dunno.....Volos FC. Who? Exactly. How is that preparing him for playing in the EPL.....
Yes but Olympiakos also have Champions League football, so whoever from PSG, Man City, Real Madrid, Inter, Barca, Bayern etc. Then once the Athens team are out of that, maybe some Europa or UEFA Conference league stuff in 2026.
I imagine alot depends on whether the coaching staff at Olympiakos are promising Marko more game time this season, and what is happening to 18 yr old midfield star Christos Mouzakitis. Is he leaving Athens or staying
