Does it matter. She was a young kid, when she switched to Germany, and grew up in a NZ household speaking German. Can't blame her if she wanted to have a crack at playing for a big football nation. The pathways for young NZ female footballers weren't so good back then. US College route or amateur FFDP. No ALW pathway

I'd take Tyler Boyd & Gianni Stensness back into the AWs setup no problems, if the FIFA rules allowed and they were keen.
Presumably Hahn can only flip flop back to NZ, because she never got capped for a German national youth team?? Only involved with age group camps??
I understand Jelacic for example can't switch back again to NZ, as he's been capped by Australia U23s (Olyroos).
