Unbeaten Galway (2nd) host Shamrock Rovers (6th)

Gonna be interesting to see how Dyer goes after his great game last week. To me the first goal the header with impressive hang time, is a better judge of his possible AWs credentials. Scores alot with his head. The 2nd one the goalazo he won't repeat that anytime soon.

But yeah a potential darkhorse WC selection based solely off last week. Lets see how he goes week in week out in the LOI.

But if he's scoring regularly from now up to the June AWs games in Toronto, he could even be picked then. Maybe. Can see Wood having a break then, given his upcoming new fatherhood status and a likely very busy 2025/26 season with Forest in Europe.

The Woodsman's had a great EPL season off the back of a full uninterrupted pre season in 2025 (ie skipped the OFC Nations Cup & Olympics).

Anyway lets see re Dyer. Last game could have just been a one off. Hope not.
According to Niche Cache, Galway only had 28% possession in the 2-0 win over Bohemians. Bohs attempted 31 shots and Galway just six. Dyer was feeding off scraps but took his chances.
