I didn't think I'd ever say this, but I would argue that Ben Waine and maybe even Max Mata (who was consistently very good at LOI level) will be looking over their shoulders.
Probably still a bit of credit in the bank for Waine and Mata yet, but if Dyer keeps scoring and performing as he is, then you're right, players have been picked out from that level.
Uncertain club future for both Waine and Mata too. Waine not even making League One squads at Mansfield and heading into a club option at the end of this current season - Plymouth staring relegation to League One squarely in the face too.
Mata is only on loan at Auckland, with one year remaining on his Shrewsbury deal. Shrewsbury already relegated to League Two for 25/26. So it remains to be seen if he's recalled, if he has a relegation release clause, or if Auckland pay a transfer fee.
