Only flaw in this logic is Mata was top goal scorer in that league too. 

I'd also expect Waine to bag loads if he got game time there too. 

It's a lower level than the A league. A small semi pro league. 

He should come back to the a league for the phoenix if he wants to fight for a world cup spot. 

Mata forced his way into the AFC team this year and made them better. He hasn’t retained it for the full season, but they were struggling to score early without him. 

Pijnaker too has looked good in the A league from the LoI. 

Dyer has done some hard yards in Canada and the US and he looks the most athletic he’s ever been. 

Remember too some players struggle in the A league- Simon Elliot was one iirc. 

I think either of Waine or Dyer would improve our squad. They should both be pushing to start. Both can play 9 or out wide, or off the shoulder. 

Either could take pressure off Kosta.
