Two Kiwi keepers view from the sidelines a 1-1 draw.

Wimbledon off to Chelsea midweek in the League Cup. Tzanev may get a start in that juicy tie - hero of Dons last Cup game.

Sadly didn't didn't get the starting gig after all, as Dons do pretty well only losing 2-1. Tzanev may end up on the pine much of this season, unless he gets a move somewhere or GK rival Bass gets injured.

Edit - Dons draw 2-2.

Can't forget our final Kiwi in action this morning.

Nik Tzanev gets the start for the Dons in their EFL Trophy game against Stevenage. Just gone to H/T - 0-0 in this one so far.

Gets the gloves, and gets the clean sheet in a 2-0 win over the Palace U-21's.

Joins Jamie Searle as the other Kiwi who has qualified for the next round at this stage.

Still think he'd be a good get for this Auckland outfit whenever they get the inaugural player signings going as well. Current deal in England finishes at the end of the 23/24 season.

Tzanev left NZ at age 9. He sounds very English. I'm sure over the 72 EFL clubs he'll find a UK deal somewhere if he moves on from Wimbledon.

Never say never, but Woud a better bet to end up in Auckland. And who knows if it all goes to custard in Perth, Sail maybe looking for an early release, so an option for Auckland his home town.
