An unlikely chain of events, but if Hall and or Pijnaker left Auckland for Europe, and aging Sakai was moved permanently sideways to be a CB, Kirwan would be a good solid RB pickup for AFC. Even with Elliot there he'd likely still get good mins. 

Sir John would love him home, playing for an Auckland team.

But well done Padova. Been a few seasons of nearly men heartbreak, so I'm sure they are enjoying this week of Serie B promotion joy.
