A Christmas contract extension with Dundalk for Norman Garbett.

Thought another season at Dundalk would be a good option for Garbett jnr. With them being relegated to the Irish 2nd tier, hopefully he gets more mins in 2025

Apparently made an impact when coming on as well. Won a a free kick that Dundalk scored from, then provided the assist for their 6th goal, in a 6-1 win.

Dundalk are top of the Irish 2nd tier.

Dundalk win 7-0 away at Treaty taking them 8 points clear at the top of the Irish 2nd tier. Garbett entering in the 68th min at 5-0 up.

Garbett on at HT with Dundalk losing 2-1, as finished as a 3-3 draw.

Dundalk (1st) drop 2 points to the chasing Cobh Ramblers with the gap reducing to 6 points.

Dundalk drew 0-0 away to Wexford, last weekend.
Garbett jnr started and played 70 mins.

Was actually Garbett's first ever start with Dundalk after an injury plagued 14 mths in Ireland. Hopefully he gets a run of games now.

Dundalk (1st) are 6 pts clear of Cobh Ramblers (2nd) with I think 6 games left in the 2nd tier.

Garbett jnr has been getting some reasonably solid mins lately for Dundalk (73 pts). 238 mins over 9 games, after missing most of the season due to injury

2 games left I think in the regular season, so Dundalk win tonight and promotion ahead of Cobh Ramblers (2nd, 69 pts) to the LOI, looks like will be locked in.

So Dundalk confirm promotion to LOI. Hopefully young Norman is retained and goes up with them.

Garbett 69 mins in a 2-1 win in Dundalk's final game last weekend. Off with them 1-0 up.

So Dundalk are promoted to the League of Ireland. It remains to be seen if Norman G, signs up for them back in the Irish top tier in 2026.
