Middlelfart currently 2nd in the Danish 3rd tier, 4 points clear of Fremad Amager. 3 matches left.

Top 2 teams are promoted to the 2nd tier (Division 1).

21 yr old Obel-Hall hasn't been in a Middelfart squad since 12th April. You suspect he may not be staying at the club post this season.

Danish 3rd tier season finally over. Middelfart finished 2nd, and got promoted to the 2nd tier. To the same level as Eli Just's parent club Horsens.

However Obel-Hall didn't play any league games post the winter break, and wasn't in a match day squad at all since April. Injured?

You'd think he will be released.

Niche Cache. No surprises, joins Unattached FC.

MiddelfartBoldKlub.dk: “Players have been sent on a short summer holiday, but there is a bustle in the office and stadium preparing for an upcoming season which will present new challenges. Training starts again on Monday 30 June in preparation for Middelfart Boldklub's debut in Betinia LIGA, which in the coming season is the name of the first division previously called NordicBet Liga. In this process, changes are made to the squad, where new forces must be added and that work will continue for the rest of June, July, and further into August. The transfer window closes September 1st. We have said goodbye to Peter Dahl Kristensen, William Akpan, Mads Jørgensen, and Oscar Obel-Hall from the last season's squad and also Assistant Lars Spinner Hansen wanted to resign.”

Righto then, no more Oscar Obel-Hall with Middelfart. The 21yo kiwi striker managed 14 games with one goal for the club last season though only one of those was a start. His contributions added up to roughly 222 minutes of footy. Much of that was in the league as Middelfart went on to finish second and earn promotion up to the first division (second tier)... but all of it was prior to the winter break. When the club returned to action in 2025, he popped up occasionally as an unused sub across the initial month back and then disappeared completely over the final ten matches.

He’s now unattached. Unlike another lad from his same age group: Kian Donkers, who had been playing academy stuff with NEC Nijmegen and VVV-Venlo over in the Netherlands... but he’s now back and has signed with Birkenhead United.

Any news on Oscar? Do you reckon he'll join an NZ club?
