Think it was MetalLegNZ that first mentioned on here that he was New Zealand born. Although I'd imagine that he would probably have acquired an Aussie passport to get this deal across the line.
Good luck to the kid. At least puts him in the frame for possible inclusion in the U20 World Cup squad, although he's probably fighting a time crunch on that front.
