Good day, hope you're all enjoying PEC Zwolle's succesfull start to the season. Haven't been active on the net whilst moving home; which is an extremely lame excuse of course..
This weekend PEC Zwolle eased to a 3-0 home victory over Excelsior from Rotterdam, with lethal striker Lars Veldwijk netting a hat-trick against his old club. The Bluefingers had a great opportunity to extend the lead six minutes before the final whistle but off-target Steph Nijland squanderd a penalty sitter.
Lars Veldwijk scored 30 goals for Excelsior in their 2013/14 promotion campaign.
PEC Zwolle are currently enjoying a record-breaking unbeaten sequence of eight matches on top flight level.
