Most players bounce back from ACL reconstructions with in a year. Some struggle with continued complications, which it sounds like Ryan is. It's been like 2 years now.
Could well be tough for him to get another high level contract. Once he gets himself right he might need to look at a lower league. Prove himself and his fitness first.
