LOL When I saw Smeltzy's heading changed to "Guiseley FC" I assumed he had signed on to coach them. Pretty amazing to be making a comeback as a player at his age (41?) Northern Premier League - Premier Division (one of four "None League Premier Divisions") Seventh tier of English football. Third level in the non-league pyramid beneath National League and National League (North and South). So not a bad non-league level really. Semi-pro with a bit of money behind it. Certainly not pub football. Guiseley were in the National League (fifth tier) 2015 - 2018 They have beaten Football League sides to make the second round of the FA Cup in two of the last six seasons. Looking at Shane's new club, Guiseley AFC, they seem to have better facilities than most of our national league clubs. The stadium holds 4000 with covered stands. They have a glossy 52 page colour matchday program etc. The club has spent 2.5 million pounds in recent years on a redevelopment scheme including upgrading their ground Nethermoor Park to 4000 capacity (covered stands on all four sides). Cheeky:
