From memory his Mum stayed in NZ (higher wages than Argentina??) whilst he returned to Argentina with his Dad, for the youngster's football.
 
Hopefully that family sacrifice hopefully pays off for them.

Few from his club Velez Sarsfield named in the Argy U15 squad.
Watched the Hurricanes play Jaguares in a Super Rugby at their stadium (northern Buenos Aires burbs) in 2018.
