Full 90 for Tommy in 1-1 draw with Sc**thorpe. Put a header over the bar near the end according to the Town website.

Would he be fancied in the Premier League? I know he's getting good game time etc and probably wouldn't be ideal to make a move from Ipswich though.

This one is going to annoy me. It sounds like one of those niggling injuries that you might decide to tackle by taking a rest any time. Of course, Smith plays through it 8 or 9 games into the season and then decides to take his rest during the international window.

Didn't someone claiming to be Smith's cousin say several months ago that Smith would get a niggling injury ruling him out of the ASB Internationals?

Reid, Nelsen, Wood and Smith are key to the success of these matches.

Smith carrying a slight injury and won't be coming back, ok for him to play but not ok for him to be sat on a plane for long periods

Sauce?

His sister (my cousin), he'll be "injured" and won't be able to make it... blame Roy

Unlikely according to the Ipswich website...

The Blues boss confirmed that Smith and ODea have both been withdrawn from their international squads due to their back and knee injuries respectively.

Keane is operating outside Fifa's intent here. The international window is not intended as a chance for players to take a break and get over a niggle. If Smith was injured (which he is supposed to have been for some time) he shouldnt have played overnight. Good enough to play last night = good enough to play in a week. Anyway, if keane doesnt want him to travel, and if Smith happy to take a breather, then that's the way it will be.

I was very confused. He's fit enough to race off after scoring a winner.....
