That's why a Championship club for example would be very wary before signing him, as likely just too many games he'd miss. He'd be a risk for any club in the UK, given his history, and big playing schedules in the English leagues. Sadly his time at the Olympics just reinforced that.

In Denmark they play pretty much once a week, plus he'd have the lure of actually winning some silverware, and a little Euro action. A long winter break to rest up over. Then not being far from his wife's family in England. And yeah he doesn't need to chase the cash. That Hammers deal has well set him up for life post football.

Be good for the AWs also, him not having a too taxing and hopefully injury free club environment - but of course nothing is ever guaranteed on that front.
