Petone say of programme award. (Source: Facebook )
"Massive congatulations to the team at Petone FC for picking up Programme of the Year at the New Zealand Football Media Awards!

Three programmes from the 2012 season were entered, for home games against Napier City Rovers, Wairarapa and Tawa.

The judges comments: Petone ticked all the boxes with their 24-page programmes: good covers, quality paper, action photos, well edited, a chairman's column that steered clear of the usual cliches. It had things most or none of the other entries had: informative profiles of each weekend's opponents and of Petone life members, plus an entertaining column, Sam Boyd's From The Balcony. This category is notoriously hard to judge but Petone are worthy winners.

Check out the programmes on the Petone FC website, if you haven't already seen them...

Keep up the good work team!
