Ive noticed he has been generating a lot of football stories for Fairfax (mainly stuff.co.nz) in the past month or so (maybe longer). He does a decent job. I think he must have a general sports background (was co-editor of Rugby Heaven for a while I think).
Good to see. Along with Fred, Tony Smith and NZPA in particular he keeps the Stuff football section quite fresh and regularly supplied with new stories. Its developed into quite a healthy football news section now - and lots of it is NZ stuff, not just stuff ripped off the wires about the Premiership.
PS - before Smithy has the chance to expose me, I will declare my Fairfax interest via Hand of God.
