I remember myself and others having issues here when SSN first released, of having to scroll back in the TV guide to watch replays.
I wonder if they got feedback that this wasn't immediately intuitive, and in response they're trying to double down on the concept of a "replay"? Except they missed the point where replays need to be available immediately.
That's a generous interpretation. The cynical one is that we'll see a press release from their CEO in a few months saying how great their new Skybox is and how it's better than the countless other services that offer live streaming and immediately available replays of events.

I don't use Sky Sport Now much (if at all) but the sky box/pod and Sky go all use the same platform and they have added instant replays which has content available as soon as the event starts via dirty vod (with ads etc) and is then replaced later by a clean vod version when it's available. I would say the "new" experience for sport is a significant improvement for people who are trying to watch live events in the ways you guys have described above in the last couple of posts.
