I remember myself and others having issues here when SSN first released, of having to scroll back in the TV guide to watch replays.

I wonder if they got feedback that this wasn't immediately intuitive, and in response they're trying to double down on the concept of a "replay"? Except they missed the point where replays need to be available immediately.

That's a generous interpretation. The cynical one is that we'll see a press release from their CEO in a few months saying how great their new Skybox is and how it's better than the countless other services that offer live streaming and immediately available replays of events.
