I just wish Sky would drop my fee of $105  per month down to $60. I only have the basic deal + sport & My Sky. I've been a long time user and feel that we deserve the break, not just new subscribers getting the $25 deal.

As for the money Sky offer for football, that sucks, they invest Millions in Rugby which judging by the crowds is losing fans hand over fist. The Wellington Lions would've been lucky to have had 3,000 at Sky for their Semi Final recently.

Now that Auckland are in the competition, that's two teams for Sky to showcase. There is an opportunity for them.

As for this satellite situation. They could've reinvested some of the profits of the last 30 Years into an account future proofing any future upgrades. I'd love to know how that Lemon of a White Box is going. Most smart TV's now off exactly the same facilities at no cost. Are they still as dodgy as when first put out on the market??

I make it that package only comes to $ 83 / $88 per month (incl. GST) depending on which version of My Sky you have:
 Sky Starter: $25.99
Sky Sport: $42.00
 My Sky:    $15.00 / $20.00

 My Sky options:
Sky Box with My Sky    $15 / month
 Sky Box with My Sky+   $20 /mth
New Sky Box with My Sky $15 /mth

You might be better off with Sky Sport Now at $50 / month.
I have friends who have it as an app on their smart TV.
I have a Dish TV Smart VU Freeview box connected to my (non-smart) TV and it's available there as an app from the Google store.
I'll probably switch to using Sky Sport Now next year and ditch my Sky box.
