yeah, totally this!
As much as it feels like Sky are taking the piss sometimes, the rights to televise sport are expensive, the joy of having pro athletes who are paid directly or indirectly from the revenue genearated by ticket sales and TV rights. Then you have the production costs. Skydoes this for most of the sports that kiwis want to watch. If Rugby, league, football, cricket, F1 and many more all had their own sub models the cost to the ocnsumer would likely be more overall. Especially if you wanted to follow mulltiple leages/events.
