The problem you have with this is that it only generates noise in a vacuum. In this case, the football community is the vacuum and no one outside of that gives a shark about a few innocents when they see the RBB at full throttle on the 6pm news. As far as they can see, it's a case of those s****r hooligans getting what they deserve.
Not withstanding the fact that those innocent people should not be swept up in this, the reality outside our own sport is that others will not care nor sympathise.
When you think about that, why does the FFA need to do anything different when there is no external pressure to change? Just like #prayforparis lasted 5 hours, they are banking on this doing the same. The steam on #savethenix is starting to wear off a little.
The FFA will stick their fingers in their ears and hold their breath for 2 weeks and continue as normal.
